What does amigurumi means?
The word Amigurumi comes from Japanese. The Japanese call handicrafts knitted with crochet and needle as Ami. The Japanese call the toys that are filled with objects such as fibers or cotton as Nuigurumi. The word Amigurumi is derived as a combination of these two words.

I want to give you some informations about this pattern;

Materials:
• Baby Green, Snow White and SOFT Beige yarn. (Be sure to use a very soft yarn to make
the robe)
• Crochet hook size 2.50mm (All Baby Yoda parts) and 4.00mm (Robe and sleeves).
• Stitch marker, sewing needle, scissors, stuffing.
• 15mm plastic safety eyes.

Abbreviation:
• ch: Chain
• sl: Slip Stitch
• st: Stich
• sc: Single Crochet
• hdc: Half Double Crochet
• dc: Double Crochet
• inc: Single Crochet Increase
• dec: Single Crochet Decrease
• MR: Magic Ring
• BLO: Single Crochet Back Loop Only


Always use a stitch marker to mark the first stich each round.
We will work the head and body as one piece.

Now we’ll start the body

Stuff and close off.
Insert the eyes between round 16 and 17 with 8 stitches (count only the ones that
shows, ignore the ones that will be hidden under the eyes) between them.

Embroider the nose passing the yarn through 2 st, 6 times.
Using the Baby Green yarn make eyelids.
Using a bit of Snow White yarn make the White spots of the eye on the bottom
corner of it.

Rnd 1: MR 6 sc (6)
Rnd 2: inc each stitch around (12)

Rnd 4: BLO 4 sc, TOE, 2 sc, TOE, 2 sc, TOE, 7sc. *
Rnd 5: (7 sc, dec) 2 times (16)

Leave a long tail to sew to the body later.

  • TOE:
    Make 5 HDC in 1 st. Loose the loop from de hook, insert the hook into the first HDC,
    take the loop and pass through the HDC as a sl.
    Don’t BLO the TOEs.

Ears (make 2):

Rnd 1: inc in second ch from the hook, ch 1, turn. (2)
Rnd 2: sc each stitch, ch 1, turn. (2)
Rnd 3: inc each stitch, ch 1, turn. (2)
Rnd 4: sc each stitch, ch 1, turn. (4)
Rnd 5: inc into first st, sc into next 2 st, inc into last st, ch 1, turn (6)
Rnd 6: sc each stitch, ch 1, turn. (6)
Rnd 7: inc into first st, sc into next 4 st, inc into last st, ch 1, turn. (8)
Rnd 8: sc each stitch, ch 1, turn. (8)
Rnd 9: inc into first st, sc into next 6 st, inc into last st, ch 1, turn. (10)

ear. Don’t sc into the bottom side.
Finish off, leave a long tail to sew to the head later.
Use the eyes as a guide, sew it 5 st from the eyes.

Robe (using SOFT beige yarn and 4.00mm hook)
Ch 51 (51)
Rnd 1: dc starting on 2nd st from the hook, ch 3, turn. (50)
Rnd 2 – 4: dc each stitch, ch 3, turn. (50)
Now we’ll make the sleeve pocket
Rnd 5: dc 12, ch 6, jump 6 st of the round and dc the next 15 st, ch 6, jump 6 st of the
round and dc the next 11 st, ch 3, turn. (50)


Rnd 6: dc 12, dc BLO in each 6 st of the ch, dc 15, dc BLO in each 6 st of the ch, dc 11 st,
ch 3, turn. (50)
Rnd 7 – 9: dc each stitch, ch 3, turn. (50)
Rnd 10: sc around the sides, DO NOT sc the top.

Sleeves (make 2):
Ch 18 (18)
Rnd 1: dc starting on 2nd st from the hook, ch 2, turn. (17)
Rnd 2: dc each stitch around (17)
Leave a long tail to sew the sides together using Whip Stitch and then sew them to the
pockets of the robe.
