PIO-PIO ASSEMBLY
✓ Begin with a long and new piece of yarn of color B to embroider eyes, beak
and legs as follows:
✓ Embroider the eyes between round 11 and 13 . Do not cut the yarn in order
to continue with the beak.
✓ Embroider the beak in the middle of the eyes, between round 13 and 15.
Weave in the remaining yarn trough and down the body. We will use it later to
embroider the legs.
✓ Sew the button in the desired position.
✓ For your PioPio little hair, cut a length of Color B, about 15 cm (6”) long.
Fold the strand in half. Insert hook through the top of the head and pull it as shown in the pictures. Trim the ends.
✓ Sew the wings to the sides of the body, about 7 stitches from each eye.
✓ Sew the tail on the back of the body.
Using the long yarn tail that was left at the beginning when the eyes and the beak were
embroidered, attach your Pio-Pio to the hoop as shown in the images.
✓ If you don’t use the embroidery hoop, you can embroider a pair of legs at the base.
✓ Weave in all yarn ends inside the body.
✓ And… THE END!
