What does amigurumi means?
The word Amigurumi comes from Japanese. The Japanese call handicrafts knitted with crochet and needle as Ami. The Japanese call the toys that are filled with objects such as fibers or cotton as Nuigurumi. The word Amigurumi is derived as a combination of these two words.

I want to give you some informations about this pattern;
Size:
11 inches from bottom of foot to top of head with weight 4 yarn and a 3.25 mm hook
Skill Level Needed:
Intermediate- suitable for novice crocheters, requires patience and precisions when assembling
the dragon and basic crochet skills.
Materials Needed:
Yarn: worsted weight #4, Color A: Green, Color B: Cream, Color C: Pink
Hook Size: D Hook or 3.25 mm
12 mm safety eyes
Scissors, sewing needle, stitch marker, fiberfill stuffing
Abbreviations:
mr= magic ring- crochet single crochet stitches in to the
adjustable loop BLO= back loops only
ch= chain stitch inc3= 3 sc in the same stitch
sc= single crochet stitch F/O= Fasten off
sl= slip stitch FLO= Front Loops Only
dc= double crochet stitch bob st= bobble stitch
inc= increase- make two single crochet stitches in the same stitch
dec=decrease- crochet two stitches together using the decrease method
(4 sc, inc) x 6= repeat the pattern between parentheses 6 times
Notes:
• Do not join rounds unless stated, work in a continuous spiral
• Use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of each round
• All stitches are worked in both loops unless stated otherwise in the pattern

Crocheted from front of nose to back of head
Starting with Color B:
- Make 6 sc into a magic ring= 6
- Increase in each st around= 12

Place eyes between rows 12 and 13, leaving 10 holes between them.

Do not fasten off green ears. Continue by single crocheting the edges of the ears together.
Place the back sides of each ear together and single crochet around the edges with green yarn.

Assembly

- Pin the head onto the body for extra support. You may need to add more stuffing as you sew.
- sew the head onto the body.
Belly:
- Pin the belly onto the body and sew into place.
Arms
- Pin the arm in a forward facing angle. There are no particular rows I place them on as it depends on how you stuff, shape, etc. its just better to judge how you want them.
- Sew the arm onto the body.
Leg
- Turn the body upside down with the nose facing away from you.
- Pin the legs onto the bottom of the body.
There are no special rows for this, just depends on the look you would like. I don’t place mine in between any special rows. I just judge based on how the individual doll looks.
3.Sew the legs onto the body.
Tail :
- Pin the tail onto the back of the body. There are no particular rows I place these on. I try to judge how it looks after pinned.
- Sew the tail onto the body
Ears :
- Pinch the ears at the bottom and sew about 3 stitches together to give it a closed look.
- Pin the ears onto the head and sew them into place. There are no particular rows I sew these on. I try to judge them based on look.
Horns:
- Pin the horns onto the top of the head right near the ears.
- Sew the horns into place.
Spikes:
- Pin the spikes onto the back of the body going down to the tail.
- Sew them into place.
Wings:
- Pin the wings onto the back of the body.
- Sew them into place.
