The word Amigurumi comes from Japanese. The Japanese call handicrafts knitted with crochet and needle as Ami. The Japanese call the toys that are filled with objects such as fibers or cotton as Nuigurumi. The word Amigurumi is derived as a combination of these two words.

You will need:
Beige yarn: Alize Burkum (210 m/100 g) 100% acrylic
White yarn: Nako Nakolen (210 m/100 g) 49% wool, 51% acrylic
2.50 mm crochet hook
4 mm safety eyes
Yarn needle
Fiberfill
Crochet Gingerbread man free pattern
Abbreviations:
R – row
ch – chain
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
DC – double crochet
TR – treble crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec – decrease (2 sc together)
[…] – number of stitches you should have at the end of the row
(…) – repeat whatever is between the brackets the given number of times
Legs (make 2)
With beige yarn:
R 1: 5 sc in magic ring [5]
R 2: (inc) repeat 5 times [10]
R 3: 10 sc
Switch to white yarn:
R 4: 10 sc
Switch to beige yarn:
R 5-6: 10 sc (2 rows)
Don’t cut the yarn when you’ll finish the second leg.
