What does amigurumi means?
The word Amigurumi comes from Japanese. The Japanese call handicrafts knitted with crochet and needle as Ami. The Japanese call the toys that are filled with objects such as fibers or cotton as Nuigurumi. The word Amigurumi is derived as a combination of these two words.

I want to give you some informations about this pattern ;
Size: The fish is about 10 cm/3.9 inches long
Material:
- Crochet hook: 2.5 mm
- Catania wool from Schachenmayr in three different colors
- Fiberfill, sewing needle
- Safety Eyes Size 8 mm
Abbreviations:
ch – chain
R – round or row
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch
Number x sc – the number tells you how many times you make a single crochet in each stitch
inc – make two single crochet in one stitch
dec – crochet two stitches together with a sc
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
2dc – crochet two double crochet in one stitch
tr – treble crochet
2tr – crochet two treble crochet in one stitch
BLO – back loops only
sc with color change: change the color on this sc (when you make this single crochet stitch,
grab the new color of your wool and pull it through the two loops on your hook).
Note: Unless otherwise stated, the parts are worked in rounds. Instead of 2 chains for the
beginning, you can also use the magic ring. All fins are crocheted directly to the fish.
To mark the beginning of the rounds, take a strand of yarn (running stitch marker) in
contrasting color. When you finish the last stitch of your round, drape the strand to the
other side. When the crocheted part is finished, you can simply pull out the strand
