What does amigurumi means?
The word Amigurumi comes from Japanese. The Japanese call handicrafts knitted with crochet and needle as Ami. The Japanese call the toys that are filled with objects such as fibers or cotton as Nuigurumi. The word Amigurumi is derived as a combination of these two words.

I want to give you some informations about this pattern;

For knitting we need:
yarn of the main color for the bunny (gray color). YarnArt Jeans. Composition – Acrylic
55%, cotton 45% (50g – 160m);
yarn for the muzzle (white color). YarnArt Jeans. Composition – Acrylic 55%, cotton
45% (50 g – 160 m);
yarn for the spout (color pink). YarnArt Jeans. Composition – Acrylic 55%, cotton 45%
(50 g. – 160 m);
needle;
a hook that matches the yarn. No. 1.5 (Clover);
beads for eyes (2 pcs.) or any eyes for toys with a diameter of 4mm;
circles of white felt with a diameter of 6mm;
bamboo sticks;
pastels for toning (optional).
Attention! You can replace the yarn with any other. Knit with your favorite yarn

Knitting: in a spiral
Toy size: about 8 cm.
Legend:
Art. b / n – single crochet
ss – connecting column
pr. – addition (2 tbsp. b / n are knitted into each vp)
kill – decrease (reduction is done by two loops knitted together)

Head:
With white yarn, we collect 6 single crochets (st. b / n) in the amigurumi ring.
1 row: 12 tbsp. b / n (addition in each article b / n). In each v.p. knitted 2 tbsp. b/n.
2 row: 18 tbsp. b / n (addition in every second st. b / n).
We change the color of the yarn to gray and continue knitting.
3rd row: 24 tbsp. b / n (addition in every third st. b / n).
4-5 rows: 24 tbsp. b/n.
6 row: we knit 12 tbsp. b/n.
Fold the piece in half and start sewing. At the same time we knit the ears.
7 row: we knit 1 tbsp. b/n. We knit the ear – we collect 6 ch. + 3 v.p. for lifting. AT
in the opposite direction, we knit 1 double crochet, 2 half-columns and 2 tbsp. b/n. And
with a connecting loop we close the ear in the 1st column. Next, we knit another 10 tbsp on the head.
b/n. We knit another ear. And we close the knitting of the head 1 tbsp. b/n.

Torso:
With gray yarn, we collect 6 single crochets (st. b / n) in the amigurumi ring.
1 row: 12 tbsp. b / n (addition in each article b / n). In each v.p. knitted 2 tbsp. b/n.
2 row: 18 tbsp. b / n (addition in every second st. b / n).
3-4 rows: 18 tbsp. b/n.
5th row: 12 tbsp. b / n (reduction in every second st. b / n).
6-7 rows: 12 tbsp. b/n.
8 row: 8 tbsp. b / n (reduction in every second st. b / n).
9 row: 8 tbsp. b/n.
Fold the piece in half and sew through 4 loops.
Sew the body to the head.
Paws:
We cut the thread into 10 cm. We need 3 threads for the upper paws and 3 threads for the lower paws.
We choose a place on the body. We insert threads. We braid the pigtails and tie a knot at the end.
Limbs:
With gray yarn we collect 6 tbsp. b / n in the amigurumi ring.
1-2 rows: 6 tbsp. b/n.
We put them on the paws and sew them up.
Tail:
We make a pompom and fasten it on the pope.
Spout:
We collect 1 air loop + 2 ch. for lifting. Next, knit 2 half-columns in
the first loop of the base + 2ch. in the first loop. It turns out a triangle.
Sew to the muzzle.
Glue the felt circles. Glue on the eyes. Ready!
You can decorate the hare according to your desire – as a topper, as a keychain, as a magnet or as
brooch. Or maybe as a Christmas toy.
